Perak goverment has just banned poco poco dance. According to MB Perak Zambry, that the dance consists of Christianity elements and soul worshipping...

When i read this article in the star http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/3/30/nation/20110330213627&sec=nation, I really had laugh till my pants drop off.... It is so funny.... so funny, indeed.... I just cant imagine how side track the teaching of the religion that this poco-poco dance is to worship Christianity. At first, I was wondering what is poco-poco dance till i find out from the you tube... that it was just a line dancing. And surprisingly, in the you tube, the person who taught the dance was wearing songkok with a 'baju melayu'. So I guess he must be a Malay. To watch Poco Poco dance, click here.
The song that play was a Malay song as well. This dance was popular in Brunei,a muslim country.... Only in malaysia, this dance was banned... How pathetic...

Oh man........ now I keep wondering, we as Malaysian, how to move forward if the country were to be ruled by this fanatics....... It is a pity, indeed

Brother,

How are you and your family? These last few days, everything was in
chaos. When I close my eyes, I see dead bodies. When I open my eyes, I
also see dead bodies.

Each one of us must work 20 hours a day, yet I wish there were 48
hours in the day, so that we could continue helping and rescuing
folks.

We are without water and electricity, and food rations are near zero.
We barely manage to move refugees before there are new
orders to move them elsewhere.

I am currently in Fukushima , about 25 kilometers away from the nuclear
power plant. I have so much to tell you that if I could
write it all down, it would surely turn into a novel about human
relationships and behaviors during times of crisis.

People here remain calm - their sense of dignity and proper behavior
are very good - so things aren't as bad as they could
be. But given another week, I can't guarantee that things won't get
to a point where we can no longer provide proper protection
and order.

They are humans after all, and when hunger and thirst override
dignity, well, they will do whatever they have to do. The
government is trying to provide supplies by air, bringing in food and
medicine, but it's like dropping a little salt into the
ocean.

Brother, there was a really moving incident. It involves a little
Japanese boy who taught an adult like me a lesson on how to
behave like a human being.

Last night, I was sent to a little grammar school to help a charity
organization distribute food to the refugees. It was a long line that
snaked this way and that and I saw a little boy around 9 years old. He
was wearing a T-shirt and a pair of shorts.

It was getting very cold and the boy was at the very end of the line.
I was worried that by the time his turn came there wouldn't
be any food left. So I spoke to him. He said he was at school when the
earthquake happened. His father worked nearby and was
driving to the school. The boy was on the third floor balcony when he
saw the tsunami sweep his father's car away.

I asked him about his mother. He said his house is right by the beach
and that his mother and little sister probably didn't make
it. He turned his head and wiped his tears when I asked about his
relatives.

The boy was shivering so I took off my police jacket and put it on him.
That's when my bag of food ration fell out. I picked it
up and gave it to him. "When it comes to your turn, they might run
out of food. So here's my portion. I already ate. Why don't
you eat it?"

The boy took my food and bowed. I thought he would eat it right away,
but he didn't. He took the bag of food, went up to where
the line ended and put it where all the food was waiting to be
distributed.

I was shocked. I asked him why he didn't eat it and instead added it to
the food pile. He answered: "Because I see a lot more
people hungrier than I am. If I put it there, then they will
distribute the food equally."

When I heard that I turned away so that people wouldn't see me cry.

A society that can produce a 9-year-old who understands the concept of
sacrifice for the greater good must be a great
society, a great people.

Well, a few lines to send you and your family my warm wishes. The hours

Slew of Budget goodies unveiled

Singapore’s Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmuganathan, delivers the
Budget Speech for the Financial Year 2011. (AP Photo)

Singaporeans will receive a total of S$6.6 billion of benefits in the 2011
Singapore Budget announced by Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam on
Friday.

$3.2 billion Grow and Share Package: The average Singaporean household will
receive S$3,500 from this year’s Budget. This will come from the S$3.2
billion to be spent on the “Grow and Share Package” and S$3.4 billion in
longer-term Social Investments for households this year.

All adult Singaporeans will also receive Growth Dividends to share the
fruits of last year’s exceptional economic growth. The majority of
Singaporeans – 80% – will get $600 to $800 each.

CPF rate revision: The Government will raise the employer contribution rate
to CPF accounts by another 0.5 percentage points, from 15.5% to 16%,
which will restore the total contribution, rate to 36%. The additional 0.5%
will go into the Special Account.
The Government will also revise the CPF salary ceiling from $4,500 to
$5,000 per month to keep pace with income growth in recent years. This
will
align the salary ceiling back to the 80th percentile income, and help
middle-income Singaporeans.

Radio and TV licence fees removed permanently: The annual licence fee of
S$110 for televisions and S$27 for vehicle radios will be removed with
immediate effect. Those who have not paid this year’s fees will not have to
make the payment, while a refund will be given to those who have already
paid.

Mr Tharman said that’s because the fees are losing their relevance. He said
televisions are no longer limited to middle and higher-income groups,
with 99% of lower-income households owning them today.

Tax cuts: Singaporeans will receive a personal income tax rebate of 20% for
individual resident taxpayers for YA 2011. The rebate will be capped at
$2,000. Taxes will be reduced significantly for middle and upper-middle
income families. Marginal tax rates will be reduced for first S$120,000 of
chargeable income.

Levy increase for foreign workers: The Government will also introduce more
levy increases on foreign workers for all sectors this year. Most of the
additional measures will be phased in at six-monthly intervals, starting
only from 1 January 2012, and extending till 1 July 2013, one year beyond
the previous schedule.

S$10 billion home upgrading: $10 billion will be spent to upgrade homes and
rejuvenate estates over the next 10 years. This is a major effort to
preserve the value of HDB flats and will go towards the Home Improvement
Programme (HIP), Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP) and Lift Upgrading
Programme (LUP), it will invest up to $55,000 per flat.

Low-income groups will also receive additional housing subsidies to better
afford their homes. The Government will set aside S$175 million each year
for the new Special CPF Housing Grant to help the bottom 50% Singapore
households own their homes.

WAKE UP!

I was in Singapore when their 2011 budget was tabled. There were two items
that impressed me most .... can't remember all :

Growth and share concept: Spore govt will give away cash amounting to
SGD800 to individuals and between SGD5000 - 2000 per household. The
estimated
per household should average SGD3000!

How can they afford this? Simple-- the Singapore government owns all public
utilities eg Electricity, water, MRT and investment arms like Tumasek and
sovereign funds. Profits from these organisations are distributed back to
their citizens, with the rich getting minimal and the lower income group
getting the larger share.

How does that compare with BN government? Cronies get richer by the days
and subsidies are cut. Yes, for political expediencies the PM gives away
RM200
to selected constituents for their votes!! Big joke!!

Employers CPF contributions are increased to ensure workers can have more
money when they retire.

What goodies do we have for our 2011 budget? Spend more on arms and patrol
crafts that costs RM 1 Billion EACH! Computers procured at RM 40,000
EACH, Costs overrun on almost all govt projects.

You are right (above message).....the following is the report of their 2011
Budget.

Makes me mad as hell.....with the imbeciles over here, both out & within

Finally, our Malaysian Tumpangnaut Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is in space. So our PM & the rest of the Ministry being so proud that he made a history for Malaysian as a first flight participant(as described by Nasa) into the space orbit. The question is what kind of things he gonna do there?

In earlier stage, the star news paper mention about playing some kampung tradition games, then follow by teh tarik and etc etc in space, in which has become the common topic within Malaysian society about wasting money. however, Najib denies it and claim that he is gonna do experiment in space.

Fine... doing some research and experiment for man kind future. But what kind of experiment and research that takes only 10 days and cost taxpayers money amounted to RM25 million? There are so many research and experiment has been done in Japan, US, Europe and etc that takes years of research to come up with a single medicine. What can he do with just 10 days.... Yeah.... 10 days to spend your ramadan holiday in space is a brilliant idea. From my point of view, if this kind of experiment can be done in space, I believe it could have done many many years ago by famous scientist in other parts of the world. Malaysian Goverment only just want to compete with China in terms of advanced technology after seeing astronaut Yang Li Wei in space. Cannot lose to China...I think it is the motto... but the fact is.....?

Astrocannaut aka Tumpangnaut

Year 1961, Russia send the first cosmonauts (Yuri gagarin) into earth orbit using Russian spacecraft called Vostok 3KA-2. It was piloted by Yuri as well.

Year 1962, US send the first astronauts (Alan Shepard ) into earth orbit using spacecraft Freedom 7 . The space craft was piloted by Alan as well.

Year 2003, China send first taikongnauts (Yang Li Wei) into earth orbit using spacecraft Long March 2F. It was piloted by Yang as well.

Sorry folks! Been away for quite sometime. Primary due to I was having my eye surgical in July(have to rest for 1 month) then follow by my granny left the world incident. Anyway, it is over now but not the 49 days and 100 days yet. In fact, I had become a vegetarian perhaps either for 49 days or 100 days. In fact, this was the first time I ate vegetarian food for days.

For the last couple of weeks, I was busy as well looking for solution to cure cancer. I often heard doctor say "Those who got cancer problem, and can't do chemotherapy, radiation therapy and etc, it means your time has come for you to prepare your will". As for me, i believe that the doctor is only follow procedure inside the box. They did not think outside the box. And you know what? I discover a Cancer Care centre who heal cancer patient using natural herbs especially made from rodent tuber. In Malay, they called the herbs as 'keladi tikus'. Eventually, I also read a blog of an microbiologist Indonesian able to save his wife from breast cancer using rodent tuber.

In fact, every human and animals has cancer cell the moment they were born. This cell will continue develop and multiply accordingly. If your body is free from toxin, the process of developed cancerous cell will not happen. Only when the food you take has too much toxin like carcinogen, and your body system unable to resist it, cancerous cell will develops and continue to spread. Detoxification your body is one way tominimize cancerous cell from developed.

No matter what, prevention is still better than cure. And the only way prevention is cut down meat and eat more fruits and vegetables, take less process food and fast food. Not only you will live a healthy and happy life but you will also cut down medical cost.

St Anne Day.

St. Anne Day is a day (often held in the month of July) where catholics christian will be celebrating feast for Blessed Mary Virgin. The catholics and the non christian will light a white candle and pray for a wish while walking towards the church and handled it to the care taker. Some even brought fragrance flowers too.

In Malaysia, the only place that have grand celebration for St Anne's day is in Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Perai Tengah. That's my sweet hometown. The church was more than 100 years old and was maintained and renovated few years back. Regardless of whether the people are catholic christians, hindus, buddhist, free thinker and etc (except Muslim), they will still gather at the St Anne church to bring out the atmosphere.

The statue of the Virgin Mary will then parade along the big field of the church compound for the people to see or for their prayers before it was send back to the church. The event took place mostly at around 7-8 pm. Then follow by a group of choirs who sang Christian songs. All the christians songs is very touchy... if you know what I mean. If you don't, try to go to your nearest church on Sunday morning and listen to it.

How to get there? Actually there are many ways. However, what I say here is the basic route I used to take. If you come from Butterworth/Penang, follow Bukit Mertajam signboard. Go all the way straight till you reach BM Plaza. Once you see BM Plaza, turn right and cross the road then turn left. You can park your car at BM Plaza or find a good spot for parking. You can't drive to the church because there will be a road block somewhere in Jalan Kulim. Therefore, you have to walk there. You can go in a group or with your love's one. At least you don't feel boring throughout the journey. From here, if you do not know the way, follow the crowd. You will get there too. Once you pass by Taman Sentosa, don't be surprise to see along the way is like pasar malam. This are the place where you can see people do business by the road side selling all kinds of stuff. For food, hmm.... all kinds from Penang Char Koay Teow, Kari Mee, Hokkien Mee(actually Prawn Mee), Penang Laksa, drinks, ice cream and lots of more. And a lot of Indians selling their own culture stuff... Once you see all this, you know that you are close to the church. Continue on till you reach the church. From there, get a white candle, light it up, say your prayer and walk up the stair, enter the church and give it to the people in charge. Back of the church, you can find holy water from the well. You can drink it or take it home. Hey who knows after you drink, you got multi blessed.

I've been to this church many years ago during my school and college days. Ever since I set foot in KL for working life, I never had the chance to go back there. Today I receive a call from my brother telling me that he is going to St Anne on 28th July. Boy, it sure reflect me all those old days memories with all my school friends.

This year the celebration is held on 28th July 2007, means by 2 weeks from now. If you haven't been, pay a visit there and get some blessing from Virgin Mary. If you go in couple, even better.

Soon, we will have a chance to experience mega bandwidth using fibre optic across the nation and its brought to you by Telekom Malaysia. Bandwidth speed is 100Mbps. I know in Technology Park, they use fibre optic across the building. And it was extremely fast. Download of a file of 200M-300M just takes 1 -2 minutes. Much better than streamyx. I know because I was working there once. Once this is in place, more business man will be able to conduct businesses via internet.And more blogger will join the community. Bingo! This is awesome, man.

However, pricing is not determine yet. Hope is not too expensive. And I wonder what kind of equipment you had to buy to install this. Once I had found out, I will post it here.

They will start implmenting from high building first like condo, apartment and etc then follow by ground houses. So those of you haven't bought a home and start look for condo.

You may have the KLCC
But some places like Penang are still dirty

You try to beat the queue to get a taxi
And don't even bother about road courtesy
Not to mention parking indiscriminately
Without signalling you overtake randomly
And abusing lanes for emergency
Rising deaths on the roads is how u celebrate festivity

You created the MSC
To emulate Silicon Valley
You talk about high technology
To preach about the PC
But yet broadband is denied to many

You also can't supply stable electricity

I Need Surge Protector

Yesterday was raining... not a heavy one of course. I was watching some movies thru my computer. All of sudden.... PIANG! A loud one. One strike out of no where, no warning as well. I jump from my seat and fell off the chair. Half of my spirit gone while I still breath heavily. I thought I have lost part of my soul. I wake up. Look around. Damned! The whole house is dark. No electricity as the power meter has a jump circuit. I said Shit! This time my computer mother board definitely burned.

No other choice, start investigate the jump circuit. Press the button and pull down the switch to turn it on. The house light is on again except my computer. Open up the CPU and checked for the burning power switch. It seems ok... but why it was not on. Check the cable wire from point to point. You know what I discover? The fius of the power cable is burn. Still anxious over the damned computer, quickly find another spare fius and replace it.

Phew! My computer is safe. Save another few thousand bucks. However, I may escape this time... Perhaps the next time, it will definitely BLOWS UP, if it happens again. Today I am gonna get my SURGE PROTECTOR just in case. I advise any of you who use computer during raining season, get a surge protection. It is ok to spend a couple of ringgit than spend thousands of ringgit to get new computer. As in Malaysia particularly in Selangor, lightining is unpredictable. Even no rain, sometimes lightning strike out of the blue for no particular reason.

Get A Surge Protector to be save for all electrical appliances.

3 things I learn from Spiderman 3 movie

Finally, I manage to see 'Spiderman 3' which was shown in cinema long long time ago. Guess I am a little bit out dated. But that's okay. At least I got to enjoy the show.

I really like the plot of this movie. If you put aside all the actions of the swinging spidey, sandman and the flying goblin and really focus on the plot, you can see clearly the moral judgement inside this movie. It is about vengeance, anger, hatred, choices and forgiveness.

The plot started with Harry Osborne who is not willing to let go his vengeance over Peter Parker, after he discover Peter was responsible for his fathers death. Unfortunately, his vengeance had lift up his anger and hatred in which later led him into his own destruction.

It is the same for those in real life. If someone had hurt us, we must learn to let it go by looking at the positive side. By letting it go, we not only found happiness but also we able to lift the burden inside our minds.

The second thing I learn is choices. It is true that people in real life have choices to choose of what they want to be, either be good or bad. However, the choices is relying on your mind to take the action. Your mind is your destiny.

Third thing is forgiveness. We are born as humans and is not perfect. There are times we make mistake in decision making. And sometimes, things happen even we don’t plan it. Just like in the movie when Flint Marko(Sandman) did not plan to kill Peter’s Uncle Ben but it happen by accident when his partner shake his hand to trigger the gun fire. So, the most important thing to make things right again is to let go all the pain, then forgive yourself first. Then learn to forgive others.

Sometimes I believe stories regardless whether it derives from comics, cartoons or anime, they are not just cartoon. They do have some moral teaching background either to the children or adult. It is just not another movie.

IPhone recently launched by Apple on 29th June 2007, to be exact at 6pm in California, USA. It claims to be a new revolutionary phone which boasted to be the best mobile phone and ipod in the telecommunications market. And its features on multi touch sensitive screen interface. It means that there will be no physical button for you to press. It is all done via touch screen. You can browse internet, use as mobile phone, conferencing, call holding, call merging, caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features, check or send email and etc.

Being Attacked By Malware imsmain.exe

Today, all of the sudden, my AVG Antivirus alert me that I got infected by malware imsmain.exe. I used AVG to quarantine it. It didnt work at all. All I could have said 'Holy shit!. and wondering how did this trojan came into my PC in the first place and now AVG unable to kill it as well. I was like in a panic situation.

I press Ctrl-Alt-Del to activate the Task Manager in Windows and end the process.. You know what? This virus, the moment you end the process, it will re-appear again in task manager. It is a very stubborn virus. I thought this time I really had to "eat banana" already.

After think for hours and search the internet without any clues, I decided to use another method to restore the system. So what I did was:

reboot the system.
press F8 to get the windows prompt and choose safe mode with network. It takes a while before boot into windows XP.
Once you are in safe mode, go to My Computer.
Locate for the directory called "Video ActiveX Access" and delete it. Make sure you clear your recycle bin as well.
Next, click start button and select run. Type in regedit.
Once the regedit is on, press ctrl-F. Key in imsmain.exe and enter. Once found the entries, delete the entries.
Once completed, reboot your computer in normal mode.
Run your antivirus,anti-malware ,anti-spy again to ensure there is no more infections.

A hunter kills a deer and brings it home.

He decides to clean and serve the deer meat for supper.
